There is a copyright on the tower at night because the lights are covered by copyright law as art, you can get a big fee for this photo.just a heads up

Behind The Lens

Location
I was for a short vacation to Paris, France. IMPORTMENT: I had this photo for sale, but i get it off and why: I get a mail from somebody and he said that its not alouted to publishing or sale this photo. The rights to publising photos are expired, but not for the light. There are now new rights. For details you can just as i did google about this rights. I give an reaction on this mail, but my reaction is not importment i think. There where people they got i fine for publishing from 400 euro. Viva la France.
Time
This was about 20.00 into the winter. It was early dark. I was climbing on the Ark the Triomph to have a high position. It was not alouted to make pictures with a tripod from that roof. But i saw more photographirs taking pictures with a tripod and yes it was dark you no.
Lighting
When i am taking nightphotos, i take a small apeture, specialy to make everything sharp on the photo from the front till the end. Also i put my camera on manualy sharpning, because otherwise it can be chanched automaticly when you take the photo. On the place where i take the photo, it was very dark and then i put my camera on live vieuw for sharpening the picture. You can make your live vieuw bigger for more sharpening.
Equipment
I used my Nikon d7200 with zoomlens 18 140 mm, a tropod and remote control.
Inspiration
I take first photos on the day, but i like to make photos into the night. It have special effects en beautiful colors and sometimes it looks like a picture. Its painting with light. In this case the light was beatiful, but not all the lights from the tower where burning. I hear later that it was for that time too expensive to burn all the lights.
Editing
Yes i am always post processing my photos to look what are the best results to show my pictures. At the moment i do that with Snapseed, its a app for free on android. I hope that it comes also on the market for windows 10. Its a very simple to learn and the results are beautifull.
In my camera bag
Normaly i have a backpack with my Nikon d7200, a zoomlens 18 140, a sigma 150 500 zoom and a 85 macro lens. A nissin flash for macro and very importmend a very havy tripod from Benro. And dont forget more batteries.
Feedback
Take your time with this sort off photography. Make more photos with more times and diffrent iso. Try to make a photo just on an another position then a normal position to make your photo more exclusif. I wish all the photographers a lot off photoplesure and maby till a another time. Erik
