This photo was taken on Burano Island.Time
This photo was taken on the 7th May 2019, at 4:54 PM. It was after our tour group had just finished eating a delicious meal made by one of the local restaurants and we all went off to explore the beautiful island.Lighting
The lighting was perfect. The sun was beginning to set behind the houses and I noticed this gorgeous little plant hanging out the front. No lighting effects were used, it was all-natural lightning.Equipment
This was shot on an iPhone XS on Portrait Mode. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
As I was exploring the Island I noticed every house had something special about it so I paid attention to the finer details. When I found this house and this gorgeous little plant growing, the bigger picture spoke to me. The is still a beautiful little plant that is still growing, very similar to Burano Island. It is an Island filled with gorgeous people and culture that continues to grow every day.Editing
No post-processing was used!In my camera bag
I normally carry on me my Canon 5Ds. Alongside this, I have two lenses that do the job. First is my Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, which is perfect to capture the finest of details when travelling. Second is my Sigma 12-24mm f/4 lens, which has to be one of my favourites to shoot with as it captures a beautiful wide-angle glance of your scene. Lastly, I always have my iPhone XS by my side for those stunning panorama and portrait mode images.Feedback
Look out for the finest of details, they can tell the biggest of stories. Whether it be part of an old broken down window or a cobweb hanging from a portrait. These fine details tell you a little more about the larger image in the background.
