This was a special sight for sure. Just before I prepared to head back down from Corn Du, I stopped for a few minutes to watch the mist rolling over the fields to the west. As the sun was rising behind me, the shadow of Pen y Fan and the central Beacons was still casting itself far across the valley, preserving the night's hoar frost. At the same time, the land further away was bathing in golden sunlight and glowing with colour.
