Some of the noises that sheep make can sound almost human. When you're sitting alone in a dark field and hear one of them coughing and sneezing behind you, you might be forgiven for feeling a little on edge...
I've wanted for a while to take a photo that puts the Milky Way into a more relatable perspective. Here I used a 50mm lens instead of my usual wide angle glass to replicate the scale of what the human eye sees, combined with the detail of what the camera sees.
I could see plenty of early Perseids this night but I wasn't fortunate enough to catch one on camera.
