Location
The photos was taken in a warehouse studio in Northcote, Melbourne. I have been a professional photographer for the last 15-20 years learning and developing my craft.Time
This image is a favorite for its lighting, tones, presence and engagement of the model. Shot in a warehouse studio making use of the natural light we managed to evoke sentimental feelings. This was taken 19/10/2019 around 2.30pm.Lighting
I wanted this image to convey solitude and isolation and a past remembered and to have the viewer draw their own conclusions. The softness of the window light contributed to the overall look and feel at the time.Equipment
This was shot one a Nikon D750, 85mm lens, hand held. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
The inspiration for this image was to have a minimalist background, the model stripped down and to evoke a sense of being in an all too complex world.Editing
The only processing is the black and white conversion with a boost in contrast to bring out the grain and texture in the frame to enhance the surrounds. In my camera bag
I generally carry a camera body Nikon D750 and three lenses, 85mm prime, 50mm prime and 24-70 zoom.Feedback
Be prepared to engage the model and establish a connection. This can only improve the results and produce quality outcomes.
