This photo was taken over New Melones lake near Angels camp, California.Time
I got off work around 5pm and decided I wasn't ready to go home so I went out looking for photo opportunities. I ended up at the New Melones Bridge that spans between two counties. After about half an hour I decided to fly over the bridge and capture this shot around 5:45pmLighting
Lighting is pure natural light. The sun had started to fall behind a mountain so the light was blocked on the water but still light on the bridge.Equipment
This shot was captured with a DJI mavic air 2 using a polarized filter at roughly 300ish feet above the bridge.Inspiration
I had already captured images of the empty bridge and just wasn't satisfied so I was waiting for a red car to pass by but there wasn't much traffic so with battery life running low I captured this work van instead and im happy I did.Editing
Basic light room edits to color along with a little of the graduated filters but majority is exactly what was captured in camera.In my camera bag
I usually carry my dji mavic air 2 alongside a Nikon d750 with a Tokina 14mm-24mm and a d7100 with a 50mm but I recently bought a sigma 150-600mm so I had to sacrifice the second body for space. Now I'm carrying the d750 with the sigma telephoto, dji drone the Tokina lens, and misc accessories like batteries, SD cards and flashlights for attaching to the drone for light painting.Feedback
Be patient and bring extra batteries for more flight time because I was there for 2 batteries and was almost out of power when the drone got back to me.
