Location
This photo was taken here in Wyndham Hotel here Bahrain. During this time, we were having me and my Dad's (god bless his soul) birthday celebration, and in the buffet area of the hotel, you can see across this beautiful and stunning Bahrain World Trade Center.Time
This was taken if I'm not mistaken around 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon because the Buffet for the hotel starts around this time of the day.Lighting
No lighting was really used for this photo as this was shot in the daylight, I just had to use mother nature's help for the lighting.Equipment
I shot this using my long-time partner, the Nikon D7000 and it was in a tripod too. This is usually what I use partnered with a Nikkor 28-105 D lens. This is usually my go-to gears for my every day as I find it very versatile in any situation, plus the macro function of the 28-105 is handy if ever I needed one.Inspiration
As I said, this was taken in celebration of my birthday and my dad's. Of course, the inspiration definitely came from Dad, I grew to like photography because of him. He always has this Kodak film camera with him ready to take on pictures every time there is an occasion or sometimes even when there is no occasion at all and he just wants to take a photo of me and my sister playing around.Editing
Besides changing it into black and white, When I shot this, It had little clouds on it, so I had to replicate some of it then do a zoom effect so it would have that daylight long exposure effect. In my camera bag
Normally, as I've said in the earlier question, my go-to gears are my Nikon D7000 and the Nikkor 28-105 D (macro) because I find these two perfect for what I usually do. Other things in my bag are Nikkor 50mm which I usually use for portraits and to have that great bokeh effect, I also have a Nikkor 50-200mm VR just in case I needed a zoom lens and lastly a couple of filters just in case I needed to do long exposures. Oh, I almost forgot, extra MMC's and a JOBY gorilla pod.Feedback
Hmm... Always do research on your location area especially if you have an idea where would it be and what time you'll go there. This is usually what I do so that I have the necessary equipment I need. Another piece of advice is to learn how to be patient and be ready at all times especially in street photography like this because, to be honest, I waited a long time for a person to actually come by before I got the shot. I never moved in my location because I also know that I only have minutes if not seconds for a person to walk by, be late to act, you'll lose that opportunity.
