I have so many wonderful photo images of sunset over the lake. This one is the most compelling, I think.Lighting
I wanted this image to appear somewhat dark and mysterious, so in post processing I removed light without adding much to color intensity.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon PowerShot SX50 HS. It was hand held, although I used the deck railing to help stabilize my camera.Inspiration
Night after night I'd viewed a variety of amorphous cloud displays. On the night this photo was taken, my first glance at the sky revealed a majestic hand reaching out from the heavens.Editing
My post-processing is limited to use of the photo editing software available in the Windows 10 Photo gallery. I darkened the image, with limited tweaking of the color intensity.In my camera bag
I tend to pack a light bag. I always carry my Canon Powershot SX50 HX and some extra batteries. An extra SD card, a lens cleaner, and my camera manual round out the bag's contents.Feedback
