Love that you got the ESB in the middle of it. Fantastic shot. Good luck.

Location
This photo was taken on a very overcast and cold day in March. My wife and I were crossing the street in DUMBO (Down under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) in Brooklyn. When we looked to our left, this is what we saw. I stood in the middle of the crosswalk to take this photo. I discovered later that this site has been photographed many times. I had this photo made into a jigsaw puzzle to do during the Covid-19 pandemic.Time
It was late morning on that overcast day - no sun.Lighting
There was nothing special about the lighting. I knew that there would not be any harsh shadows since there was no sunlight to interfere with the lighting.Equipment
I took this with a Nikon E7600 and that was all.Inspiration
What an iconic view this is. I could not pass up the opportunity to take this photo. One can see not just the bridge, but also the Empire State Building in the distance.Editing
I cannot recall any editing of this photo. What you see is what you get.In my camera bag
When I took this photo all I had was the camera. When I do have my bag I carry very little: extra battery and memory card, a small tripod and that is basically it.Feedback
Be aware of your surroundings and look around. Taking digital photos cost nothing to develop so why not take as much as you can. Be open and responsive.
