Behind The Lens
Location
I was a jazz combo performance of my daughter's college group from American River College in Sacramento. I saw the shadow of the pianist on the wall and thought I would try to capture it in black and white.Time
The photograph was taken in the late afternoon inside of an old brick gym of a school in downtown Sacramento. It had wonderful sky lights that let the light in but the band was also lit with wonderful purple lights.Lighting
There was also wonderful lighting and back lighting on the band.Equipment
I believe it was just on my iphone7plus.Inspiration
Yang is such a wonderful person and player. She looked so beautiful playing and her shadow was perfect.Editing
