This photo was taken in my back yard on the 4th of July 2013... I love the look of the old weathered fence and thought it would make a great back ground. I did a series of these with all three of my children. This is my youngest.Time
I was early afternoon on a hot northern California day......on the 4th of July!Lighting
Of course the light was over head.... had my daughter stand in the shade of the fence.Equipment
It was my little Canon Rebel Xsi... used my 50mm prime....natural lighting,f 6.4, iso200Inspiration
I wanted to do something fun for the 4th of July that wasn't fireworks...but had an Americana feeling.Editing
Yes...just a bit to make it look a bit old but still keeping rich colors.In my camera bag
Now I have a Canon 6D with my Canon 50mm prime 1.4 and my Tamron 70-200 mm 1.8.Feedback
Keep it simple with the back ground and props and colors.
