As I photographed a stunning sunrise to the east my default every few minutes is to look 360 degrees to make sure I'm not missing something! Sure enough on this occasion I would have done as behind me to the west over the Houses of Parliament & the London Eye was a rare phenomenon "A red rainbow" which is apparently caused by moisture going up not down & the diffracted sunlight being as low as it was.
Remember always look around you...
