In the town of Sopot in Bulgaria there is a knife making event that is quickly become renown. I have attended it 3 times now and have learned much each time. During the 2019 event I was given free rein to photograph the event. one of my most favored shots from the entire event. The knife maker had just set his hammer down and returned the metal to the forge to heat it back to working temperature. They are using coal to heat the metal causing the yellow flame in the background A candid shot in existing light
