This photo was captured while touring the Philippine Islands. I was on the island of Bohol. They are difficult to photograph as they are protected animals. The location I found them does not allow tripods, selfie sticks, or flash photography. Visitors are not allowed to leave the well marked trails. If you are to photograph them I recommend a long lens and practice handheld shooting with it before you plan this trip. They under the tree canopy and are nocturnal. Their diet is mainly insects but also eat small lizards and birds.
