Product photographers, I am asking for your help. I want to learn the fine art of photographing jewelry. Here is another of my first attempts. Please help me improve. I welcome your constructive criticism. Thank you in advance.

I like searching for unusual stones with individual characteristics. This means I slice a lot of rock before I find pieces like this one. The sterling silver back plate is pierced so that the natural openings in the stone become a central feature.

This stone was gathered in the Silver Island Mountain Range near the community of Wendover. The mountain range also borders the Bonneville Salt Flats. This type of agate is called either plume agate or seam agate.

Generally speaking agates are said to be stabilizing and strengthening. They improve memory and increase energy.
