This is an older photo I still find intriguing. I watched the spider completely envelop the grasshopper in less than a minute. To put it in perspective, the grasshopper is just over an inch long. Shot handheld in natural light. the photo is cropped. I shot this image before I had a good macro lens. The location is a roadside in Western Colorado
