What a difference a year can make! This photo was taken almost a year before the Notre Dame fire and has more meaning now that it did when I took it. The view is from the North Tower facing West toward the Eiffel Tower. Getting the photo proved challenging because of the metal netting to prevent large items from tossed down into the crowds. The photo is actually a multi-shot composite to compensate for the fencing and other visual elements that could not have otherwise been achieved.
