This photo was taken at Topsail Beach in NC.

Time

this photo was taken early in the morning. I had gotten up to capture the sunrise and saw this lone footprint in the sand. I thought that was strange in and of itself, but also loved the way the footprint appears to be pushing op from under the sand.

Lighting

I used no special lighting. It was early morning, shortly after sunrise. The sky was a bit overcast.

It was unusual, being a lone footprint in the sand. It was also perfectly formed and seemed to be pushing up from under the sand.
