Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the NC mountains. I was standing outside of a little church on a photo shoot. I had my eye open for some good shots. I happened to see a lot of bees around a bunch of flowers, and decided to get a good photo.

Time

This photo was taken on a somewhat overcast day during the late morning hours.

Lighting

The natural lighting was perfect, as it was somewhat overcast. I used no special lighting in the shot.

Equipment

This was taken with my Panasonic FZ-200 camera. It has a very good zoom lens which allowed me to get this shot.

Inspiration

I had a new camera and really wanted to experiment with various features.

Editing

I did no post-processing. I am a very amateur photographer, so at the time knew very little about post-processing.

In my camera bag

I usually have an extra battery, an extra memory card, and a lens cloth

Feedback

Just keep your eyes open for photo opportunities. With practice and a good eye, you can make an amazing photo out of something very simple.
