Find a thin sheet of plastic or paper (white or semi transparent) and cut it to the size of your onboard flash and you made yourself a nice diffuser for more pleasant photos with flash. It is for free, it is light, small and you could always carry one of these in your pocket. Even a paper tissue can be of help to get more pleasant shadows on your images.

Good advices, both diffuser versions.
Today's kids (and not only kids) think, if it isn't in the store or on EBay (pick your fave commercial site...) then it does not exist.
There should be more of such ideas on photography site! Maybe more people would dare to experiment, and in the same time learn - and save money.

Thanks... what I can do, I like to do myself. It's fun, it's free and money is spared. Sometimes the results is even beter than that of indusatrial made gear.

Thanks. My intention was to show just that and give a jump start for others to think out of the box and wallet. ;-D

Idea is the main word. Than you have to know what you want to show and for what purpose. It all comes to that. The more clear you present your idea the better.
