Its name in Argentina is "Garza Paleta", inhabits the humid zones located between the South of the United States and South America. It is a beautiful bird, wich has a flattened spoon shaped beak, wich moves from side to side to filter its food from the mud of the banks of the rivers, lakes and estuaries where it lives.
