"Coopers Hawk"

A misty morning in the Pecan groves of Roswell, New Mexico.

I found this little guy perched atop a granite boulder sunning himself. In Elena Gallegos Canyon near Albuquerque, NM.

An unusual plugin for Photoshop CS4 and CS5 permits a variety of effects like this one.

Taken in spring of 2006 using my best (at the time) camera, a Nikon D50. Adjusted exposure, contrast and saturation.

Same photo as uploaded previously but cropped and framed which (IMO) makes a better image.

Young hawk, with blood on his beak and talons, glares at me as I take the photo. He had just killed one of my bantam hens.

Abandoned farmhouse in the middle of a productive farm. The 'grass' appears to be sorghum as it is not tall enough to be corn at the time of year this
