This is so well done. Voted. I invite you to tour my hawks. If you could help me correctly identify them, I'd appreciate it.

It's great! So still and perfectly posed, it looks fake... Love the detail and color!

The camera was a "Point and Shoot" Nikon E8800, which has a built in 10X zoom lens. This camera is one of the few in it's category capable of shooting a 'raw' format image.

Wonderful, these Coopers Hawks are deadly and you have made this one truly a star, bravo

Yes. This Nikon camera was an attempt to compete with low end DSLRs. It has slightly larger sensor than most 'bridge' cameras and it would also shoot Raw format. The iso range is 50-400.

Also known as the 'HWY Sentinel!' They are truly a noble creature. Beautiful photo!

Wow - very peaceful looking image of a raptor. We had one in our California backyard recently but it wasn't nearly this tall. Love his expression. Awesome capture.

This is a fantastic capture of an Accipiter.
However, this is a Juvenile Sharp-shined Hawk.
Small head, fully round crown, and a nape that is the same color as the head and back. Eye at CL of head.
