Sometime we see the same face or look of a place. Its like seeing an old friend. Then there is a rare moment that occurs when when you are surprised with a new face. Something you have never seen before.

This is a spot just outside of Death Valley called Darwin CA. Where the average annual snowfall is less than an inch. Ever the rain fall is only 8 inches. But here is a rare view with a foot of snow on the desert floor. A face I had never seen before.
