The photo was taken in Suhr, Switzerland.Time
The photo was taken on 2018 September the 16th at about 14:00.Lighting
The only source of light was the natural light. It was a warm, beautiful day and there was enough light for some great pictures. Very nice and perfect conditions :-)Equipment
For this shot I used my Nikon D810 in combination with the fantastic Tamron SP 45mm f1.8 DI VC USD Lens.Inspiration
On this day I had the idea to take some photos with the topic "wood". I saw this house with this wooden facade and spontaneously decided to take some pictures.Editing
Always more or less! After selecting the photos to edit, I choose the color look for each set, then I correct, if necessary, the light of the picture. In this picture I had the idea to use the symmetrical lines of the wooden facade to create a vanishing point. But after the first editing I was not 100% satisfied with the picture. It lacked that special something. So I remembered the often seen planes in the sky in the many pictures of subjects with the view towards the sky. Some time ago, I photographed some aircraft from a distance, to eventually use them in a picture. And now... I have inserted these aircraft very symmetrically in my picture. In my camera bag
For this picture I used my full format DSLR with a set of (relatively) fast primes: A 45mm, a 85mm or 90mm macro, the magnificent Sigma 24-35mm f2.0 Art Zoom for the slightly wider angles and the 70-200mm.Feedback
I had some time that day, so I went around and found some very interesting motifs that fit my topic. A camera with manual control and a perfect prime lens gives me all the possibilities I needed. And never forget to do some the post-processing, if you have some retouching skills, your pictures will always be better after the retouch ;-)
