Behind The Lens

Location

At Piha beach on the West coast of New Zealand's North Island - a weekends and holiday retreat for many Auckland residents.

Time

Around 2.50 PM on a beautiful Autumn day.

Lighting

The thing that attracted my attention was the light particularly the way it highlighted the sea mist.

Equipment

This was taken on a Nikon D700 with a Tamron 28-300 Zoom lens.

Inspiration

Very simply I was inspired by the sea mist rising behind the beach at one of the most lovely beaches I have ever visited.

Editing

All I did was convert the original colour image to monochrome.

In my camera bag

Just my Nikon D700 with a Tamron 28-300 Zoom lens. And my iPhone 11 cameras of course.
