I took this photo in the Manuka shopping precinct in Australia's capital city of Canberra.

It was taken at 8.17PM on a wet Autumn evening.

Reflected light and colours on a wet surface at night always look good to me.

Inspiration

I was standing on the footpath near the pedestrian crossing waiting to be picked up by my wife when I saw the man approaching. I thought it looked like a shot worth capturing, so just pointed my phone camera and pressed the shutter release.

Editing

None at all.

In my camera bag

I always have my phone camera with me. When I carry anything else it is generally a Nikon D700 fitted with a Tamron 28-200 lens.
