During one of my more recent visits to Bulgaria I was given an opportunity to speak with and photograph some Muslims of Turkish decent. They allowed me to shoot some photos inside their mosque which I feel privileged to have and to share. The men I spoke with were nothing like those we hear about in the news. they were kind and generous. Through translators, we shared stories and humor for a few hours, a most memorable time in my life.
