While in the Utah Desert looking for stones to make into jewelry I found this ancient Utah-Juniper that finally gave up to nature's ravages. I love the texture of the twisted grain of these trees. I normally bring a camera on these outings and in this case it was a good idea. I had this converted to black and white because I thought it would look good in this format
