Clouds were moving in fast
Night fell at South Lake. I found myself back at the best vantage point to the lake. All the clouds that had lingered over the lake earlier seemed to have moved on, and I was quite excited about the prospect of capturing the Milky Way in the clear night sky over the lake. Particularly, I knew this vantage point would be perfect to capture unobstructed reflections of the galaxy and the stars in the water. As I started taking shots of the galaxy though, I saw the left corner of the frame was turning darker. What appeared to be a clear night sky less than a half hour ago was becoming a very cloudy one! And the clouds were moving in fast! After taking a few shots, the nonstop raindrops forced me to pack up my gear and walk away. And I barely made it back to my car dry.
