I shot this photo at Peña de Bernal, a small village in the mexican state of Querétaro. Since it is becoming a turistical attraction people from several ethnic groups go to this small settlement looking for job opportunities.Time
In a cold afternoon of a cloudy and cold day, this couple of sisters walked down the street.Lighting
The light was scarce and soft, I think that this set a dark ambiance to the image. I loved the way this environment contrast with the baby girl.Equipment

These sisters stopped with a shopkeeper and casually started to chat. Listening to the talk, I noticed that they were sisters. It reminded me about an spanish legend about a gipsy woman that was in loved with a man from another gipsy ethnic group, but it was forbidden by their laws. She summoned the moon asking her for the favor, and the Moon asks in return her fistborn. When the baby is born, it turned out that he had white skin like the moon. This causes a fight with the gypsy's husband.Editing
