Location
I took this photo near my hometown, this cave is known as Cueva de la Virgen.Time
It was around 6 or 7 pm, almost evening. Few light inside the cave, but outside still sunrays showering the mountains.Lighting
Due to the location of the cave, while we was in the shadows, in the background I could get a great landscape.Equipment
I shot this frame with my cellphone, in this kind of location is a bit difficult to carry the big guns.Inspiration
Because of the time of the day, I knew that the landscape would look great against the silhouette of the climber, I think that it express the adventurous spirit of this sport.Editing
For post-pro I just adjusted a bit the lights to avoid to burn the frame, and made it B&W.In my camera bag
Lately, I have been making photography most of the time with my cellphone, that allows me to be ready for action any time, any moment. When I have the time to schedule, I bring a Nikon D750 and a couple of lenses, my favorite, an analog lens 50mm 1.4.Feedback
In nature, besides the time of the day, is very important to know the location and what can you take from it. So, I would recommend to explore the sites to the most minimal detail, you never know where is the best perspective for your shots.
