Difficult subject since it covers a range of luminosity over 30000-fold.. All the fully illuminated regions should be white and contrast reduced. The unusual event this time was that the full eclipse lasted so long. Only 3 exposures in your composition? Was this because you were far in the East and/ far in the South? I guess the "star" was Mars just below the Moon. This is an interesting addition that allow better comparison of the individual exposures.
