Traveling across high desert
Accompanied by high winds, the moments that followed the sunrise were quite dramatic. Different shades of shadows, traveling across the high desert, created the feel and vibe of another planet. While part of me wondered if that resembled Mars, the crisp, cool morning air let my gaze fall on as far as Horseshoe Meadow Road that zigzagged up to the pass on the right and Telescope Peak in the far distance on the left. Now that all the clouds that had shrouded the mountain tops for the last couple of days seemed to have moved on, all the peaks showed off their fresh snow coated looks.
