This small waterfall is called Chantara and is located in Troodos Mountains, Cyprus, at an altitude of 1035 m, 1.5 km north of Fini village. Legend has it that the waterfall got its name from the Greek word αντάρα (antara) which in the local dialect means “water noise”; literally the word translates to mist. It’s a place I have visited quite a few times. This is the latest photo I took a month ago with the waterfall in its autumn suit, captured 15 minutes after sunset. I was hoping for more water flow to accompany the beautiful autumn colours, but it didn’t rain as much by that time.

For those interested, this is a single RAW shot, with my Nikon D750 and Nikon 14-24 f-2.8. Exposure for of 182 seconds at f-5.6 and ISO 100, with Lee 6-stop ND filter.
