Taken surreptiously from the balcony of the Sri Bankey Behari temple in Vrindavan. Devotees are pressing upon the elevated shrine of their deity, Lord Krishna. Temple priests are flinging large plates of coloured powder upon the frenzied devotees. Their pilgrimage is complete when the priest draws back the curtain concealinlg the main icon of the temple. At which time a roar of ecstatic union erupted from the pressing crowd. They travelled to see their god, the manifestation of Divine Love, and most importantly, after receiving their offerings, the god sees them. Divine Ecstasy. The Hindu festival of Holi in general is the Spring celebration of the triumph of Good over Evil.
