Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in Bunkeflostrand , Sweden .Time
One freezing cold afternoon this March I went out to take some shots as sea has been frozen. Upon arrival I saw this rock peeking from the ice some 300 meters from shore so I mounted 300mm lens on my Canon and tried first to take shot with it but it was not what I was after, so I decided to come closer for better shot this time with 24mm lens. On the way there I came across thin ice got myself all wet on -20 degrees Celsius and went home to change . Came back some 30 minutes later and this time went around until I reached this rock and took the photo . I suppose it was worth it :)Lighting
All natural lightning with ISO on 100Equipment
This was shot with Canon Eos 1200D , with Canon EFS 24mm 1:2.8 STM lens or better known as pancake lensInspiration
It was very hard and risky to get so close .Editing
As I shoot only raws I do all processing in Photoshop ,but nothing special was done except some basic exposure and contrast fixing .In my camera bag
The first thing I always pack in my pack is Canon EF 50mm 1: 1,8 STM then I take 2 of my body cameras IR converted 720nm Canon Eos 1100D and Canon Eos 1200D , Tamron 70-300mm AF 1:4-5.6 tele-macro(1:2) lens, then Canon 24 mm EF-S 1:2,8 STM pancake lens and last but not least my favorite Canon ultrasonic zoom lens EF 28-105mm 1:3.5-4.5Feedback
Be sure not to came across thin ice , and if you do everything to protect your equipment .
