Poignant reminder
After leaving the T. Rex sculpture, I found my way back to the Stallion sculptures. There were many of them but I had specifically scouted this pair earlier. By the time when I set up my camera, the wind picked up and the temp dropped to about just mid-30s. The moon was already set, but the city lights from Borrego Springs were apparent. Again, it was a poignant reminder that the galactic core of the Milky Way wasn’t visible since it was late December. I may come back and try again, but for now, I was glad that the sky was clear.
