Location
Photo was taken in the Aquarium of the Americas in New OrleansTime
Was around 4pmLighting
Lighting was not the best so I had to open my aperture wide open and raise my iso. I love low light situations so I was ok with the lightingEquipment
My camera was the Sony A9. The lens was the 70-200mm f2.8 GM and it was handheldInspiration
The owl was not moving at all when I decided to take the photo. At that very moment he moved his head up and that's how I catch himEditing
Yes, I love processing my photos. I decided to fade all the shadows and leave the owl bright in the center so it can be the center of attentionIn my camera bag
I have always my 3 lenses. 2470mm f2.8, 70200mm f2.8 and my 1635mm f4 Zeiss. Also with me a couple of batteries and memory cardsFeedback
Always make sure you have the right settings to make the shot that you want. I knew I need to have a fast shutter speed to freeze his movements even when I had low light. I didn't care raising the iso because I didn't want to have a blurry image
