Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Teotihuacán, Mexico on a Hot Air Balloon

Time

It was early in the morning. Around 7:30am

Lighting

The light was great. Since it was during sunrise we had a warm color coming from the east and blue from the west.

Equipment

I shot this using the Sony A7RII with 16-35mm f4 Zeiss lens handheld

Inspiration

I love traveling and getting to know new places. It was my first time getting in a hot air balloon. I knew the view from up there at sunrise was going to be amazing

Editing

Yes. I love processing warm/cool photos and thats what I did here. I played with the temperature on both sides of the photos plus I raised the saturation and vibrance more to have that punch of color.

In my camera bag

I'm a Sony shooter and at the moment I carry my Sony A9 with my 16-35mm f4 Zeiss, my 24-70mm f2.8 GM and my 70-200mm f2.8 GM. Also all my ND filters plus my tripod

Feedback

Get in a Hot Air Balloon and shoot. If you have a wide angle lens the better. Doesn't matter the location. You'll get amazing pictures, I'll guarantee it. It was one of the most amazing experiences that I had and I can't wait to do it again
