This photo of the abandoned house at Ahiaruhe, Carterton, New Zealand has given rise to lots of legends. .Time
On a cloudy day, not having much to do I decided to go and take a shot at getting a photo of the famous haunted house. I arrived at the site only to find warning signs not to enter the property. It was 11:18am in November, almost the start of summer.Lighting
Being a cloudy day, I wasn't too concerned about light, just used what natural light there was. I waited for the opportunity when there was a small gap between clouds where the sun had a very limited amount of lighting on the house.Equipment
I used a Canon 7D MkII with a Canon EF 75-300mm f4-5.6 III Lens. I used ISO-100, f/10 and exposure 1/100 hand held.Inspiration
This ghost house is a local legend and has many stories. I was curious to see it, so not having anything to do decided to go and take a look. There was a few different angles to take a photo, however this angle gave a bit of interest as the part of the house that you cannot see gives rise to a certain degree of curiosity.Editing
