Congrats on winning my "Snow sports" photo challenge. I love this shot...it brings back great memories of my daughters' early adventures on skis. Thanks for entering!

Hello and a big thank you :-) In fact, this is my daughter during her first week on skis. The picture was shot at the last day during a final "exam".

Location
The photo of my daughter was taken after her first week on skis during her final "exam" in Celerina near St. Moritz in Switzerland.Time
The photo was taken in the mornig at about 10:30.Lighting
Nothing special. The sun was already quite present. Enough light but no special or beautiful lighting conditions.Equipment
I used my Sony alpha 6300 with the Sony 55-210mm SEL55210 Lens.Inspiration
The goal was to capture my daughter during her "final exam" after first week on skis. Actually more thought as a family photo.Editing
After reviewing the vacation photos, I found this photo a bit boring. I missed that impression of speed. After all, it was a race that I photographed. So I blurred the, already terrible, background to get the impression of speed in the picture, did some finetuning on the light and then everything looked much better. In my camera bag
For family vacations I usually had my mirrorless Sony APS-C camera and since everything is so easy, I carrie all the lenses I have (currently the fantastic SEL1018, the SELp1650, the SEL55210, the great SEL50F18 OSS and the SEL35F18 OSS).Feedback
Try to find the best lighting conditions for the realization of your image idea. The most important thing is and remains the light. Then look for extraordinary and surprising angles ans viewpoints. Try and learn!
