Coming to life in color

Our North Kaibab Trail hike began in pitch black. 15 miles to the Colorado River with 5,660’ elevation loss. And then back to the rim. Very long and strenuous. The surroundings started coming to view as the first light crept upon us. In the company of fall foliage, everything started coming to life in color.
