Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my backyard as we were leaving on a trip. I saw it as a good omen.

Time

This was at sunrise.

Lighting

The lighting was perfect for a sunrise. They usually only last a few minutes. If you don't catch it quickly, you will lose it. Sunsets typically give more time and go through many phases.

Equipment

This was shot with a Fujifilm Fine Pix S1. I didn't use a tripod or any other accessories.

Inspiration

I went out to get the paper, looked up and said WOW!!!

Editing

I enhanced the photo with Luminar. It brought it out to almost equal its natural glory.

In my camera bag

I have since purchased a Nikon D7500. I have a Nikor 18-55 zoom, a Nikor 70-300 zoom and an E series 50mm standard lens. I also have a set of filters and Macro filters for both lenses. I also have a tripod. These are all in a backpack for easier carrying. I use a harness instead of a neck strap for carrying the camera.

Feedback

Always be ready, I don't know how many opportunities I have missed because I didn't have the camera with me.
