Most of the birds in flight at Galapagos were way out of range, but now and then I took a shot anyway figuring I could easily crop my D810 file. This is one result. This is clearly not a male Frigate bird as it does not have the tell tale red throat sac. There are supposed to be 2 Frigate Bird species on the island; the great (Fregata minor) and the magnificent (Fregata magnificens). I can't tell the difference from this distance.
