Behind The Lens

Location
This particular photo was taken in Knole park in Kent, which is a 1000 acre medieval deer park in the South of England
Time
i remember taking this shot on a late summers afternoon, just as the sun began to drop towards the horizon
Lighting
As the sun began to drop towards the horizon and behind the tree line you could just see the sun beginning to flare behind the tree as it beamed between the leaves and create some great lighting
Equipment
This was shot with my Canon EOS 600D with an EF-S55-250mm Canon lens to get up close to the deer and get a real feel for the depth of field
Inspiration
I love this location, its a great open space and great for taking photos of the deer roaming freely around the acres of land. I had been wondering around for a few hours taking various shots of the deer when i noticed the sun between the trees and had to take the shot
Editing
Most of my post processing was focused around trying to bring some of the vibrance back to the image and really show the contrast in the different colour trees in the background
In my camera bag
My bags fairly packed, i usually travel with my Canon EOS 600D with a few lenses. (EF-S10-18mm/EF-S 18-55/EF-S 55-250) . Ill also carry my lens cleaning kit, some filters (namely ND filters), a torch, camera charging units, portable phone charger, camera remote and my Manfrotto tripod.
Feedback
My advice would be to plan as my as possible but always be prepared to react to changes in the conditions on site. This was never the photo i went out looking for, but im glad i was lucky enough to capture
