CHESTERFIELD, Virginia - The National Wings of Freedom tour came to Chesterfield County Airport, Oct. 16-19, 2017. I was fortunate to get some photos of these magnificent birds on their last day. Even more impressive is listening to the stories of the elderly WWII vets who make a point of coming out to see the birds they flew in the war! Bless 'em all!

It is such a sad end for nine-o-nine. That crash in Hartford's Bradley International Airport.......... seven dead including both pilots . Prayers for all of them and for quick recovery of the survivors.
