A rather ho-hum original image, i have emphasised the grain in B&W. Often as not it is familiarity with the tools of the trade (lightroom, in this case) that can make one's image, after the fact in this case but also at the time of capture and pre-visualising what an image could be during the developing process as well. The mind takes the picture, not simply the camera.
