Paddling up a West Coast inlet we followed a steep mountainside trying to determine our jumping off point for the other side. Just as we made our break, using the disc of the sun to maintain our course, the fog lifted, Blue sky, tall mountains and towering white clouds. I like this photo because the bow paddler is switching sides and the angle of the paddle works in the diagonal composition. All is calm, but the composition says danger! The muted color emphasisis the subject matter.
