Once Cirque Peak was fully lit by the moonshine, it was time to catch the moon actually rising over High Lake. I found myself witnessing the moon coming up right between the two rock formations. As if it were a gate for such an occasion. Perfectly timed. The stars still lingered in the water as the whole world came back alive.
